  2. transcription in progress (you'll rarely see this, takes like 1 hour)
  3. pending edit (raw data usually released in haphazard format)
  4. auditing in progress (watchalong fixing spelling/grammatical errors)
  5. editing/formatting in progress (segmenting each speaker)
  6. finalizing (putting last touches before publish)

Notes about Updates:

I utilize Descript to get my transcriptions but it's raw data. Any posts with (Pending Edit) means I have the raw transcription but I need to properly audit, edit, format, and segment accordingly. It's a lengthy process in total. 

Unfortunately the (Currently Lost) updates is what it is. Every now and then I will resume my search if by any chance any of these episodes resurface just as abruptly as the first 7 episodes did. Anything is possible!

New development: Someone uploaded episodes of Into the Unknown which I stupidly got mixed up with Beyond Bizarre. I am working on putting a new section together.

Where to Watch

These episodes recently got uploaded to Internet Archive a little under a year ago. Here are the links! Always best to download them for yourself just in case these links for go for some reason. A YouTube channel used to have a playlist but said channel got terminated 😭 I backed mine up already. Episode 1  "Bodies Dead and Alive" Episode 2  "Vampires and Other Pets" Episode 3  "Snakes, Mummies and Rocks That Move" Episode 4  "Goths and Zombies" Episode 5  "Museum of Death" Episode 6  "Vortexes and Voodoo" Episode 7  "UFOs and Alien Implants" Episodes 8-14 are currently missing. I did find various clips. For example the  Shrunken Heads  segment (from my other blog). This will be temporary. I will make this into a separate future post and remove this eventually. Oh and I know the photo edit is crap. Just a placeholder.

Segment: Snake Handlers

Welcome to my very first write up for my Beyond Bizarre blog. Let's start at the 'ol genesis: snake handlers. This is the 1st segment of the 1st episode of Beyond Bizarre. If you are new here (I am too!) greetings. My plan for this blog is to keep the coolness of this show alive, albeit this show may be outdated as hell but it is for sure a lost gem I rarely see anyone talk about. Footage is pretty scarce as well. I plan to post transcripts, tv clips (when available) and other anecdotes for what was featured on the show. Thus, being my first post of this. I am uneducated on a lot of things including my writing skills and knowledge of subjects featured but I promise to try the best of my ability to do it justice.
