Reference: Social Media Shout Outs

Quickie post as I really aim for at least 1 post a month, here is a cool thing I came across while trying to delve into my search for more information about the elusive missing Beyond Bizarre episodes.

I've always wondered if anyone had the same fond memories as I did. I've seen a lot of YouTube videos that often make nostalgic media kind of topic but then again, I'm old as fuck. I once came across a so-called nostalgic media video when the guy was reminescing the PBS shows he grew up with and it was literally shit like Zooboomafoo or Cyber Chase...my childhood shows I grew up with were like Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?, Wishbone, Kratt's Kreatures and Teletubbies.

But I digress.

Whatever this new name change I'm still referring to this Twitter as Twitter. X is such a weird ass name. Anyway, here are some screenshots I came across shouting out this show in any capacity. It's refreshing to know that people out there are still aware of this show. For a hot second I thought I was going mad. So yeah, here they are.

It's so nice I'll add it twice:

Unfortunately, that is literally all I can find on Twitter. It's lovely that Beyond Bizarre is long from forgotten but man this really saddens me. It was such a short lived show but I am surprised that this show ultimately doesn't get the immense attraction it deserves when shit like Ghost Adventures and other fake ass paranormal, mystery, and other cryptid type of shows get all the hype. Yeah, I said it. I hate Ghost Adventures. I admittedly used to love it when it first came out and binged on it as a teen but as I grew up I realized how fake and exaggerated shows are. How many times can Zach get possessed. It's cringe the more I think about it. In the end, shows like that are entertainment and far from factual. It is what it is. There are literally like countless paranormal shows like this one but man...

Beyond Bizarre was truly something else. Sure, it is also very entertainment based. I have actually came across a few negative comments from this show. Let's see if I can find some in the future. The more scathing ones I found were on a Youtube video that has since been deleted but here is a lukewarm review:

You would think that the ever so popular Reddit would have more traction or something, right? Lol, no. These 2 posts were all I could find and it had very little or outdated comments.

At least this post actually has comments:

Now this screenshot is from a Tapatalk forum post which I am utterly clueless on it's existence but it is quite dated. This poster obviously meant Beyond Bizarre as Beyond Belief is hosted by Jonathan Frakes. I assume many people get these titles crossed every now and then.

And here is a more recent post. While I have my doubts it is actually talking about Beyond Bizarre, it is reminiscent for sure. I still personally haven't rewatched all the available episodes yet, as I am making my way to audit my transcripts soon.

Update: They were not talking about this show. According to the comments it was the Urban Legends' "Stranger Than Fiction" episode. Haven't seen it for myself but OP confirms that's what they were talking about. Looks so cheesy.

As of this current time of post that is all I can unfortunately find wth any references towards Beyond Bizarre which is quote bizarre in itself. Sorry for sounding like such a broken record but I oh so vividly remember how much I enjoyed this show despite watching so young and totally at a not appropriate age. I doubt their demographics were for a tween girl but whatever. No shows can match the perfect Jay Robinson host for this eerie documentary style show. Believe me, I went through an emo phase and watched nothing but paranormal, conspiracy, UFO, and other various mystery type of shows. Nothing ever truly beat Beyond Bizarre.

Well, that is all I got for ya'll today. I noticed that this blog has an interesting spike in views despite me not updating this blog nearly enough as I should. I truly am sorry about that. I originally wanted to post segments in order but I am taking too long trying to finish a book written by a witch so I can make this post. But yeah.

Like I said before, I will try to do at least bare minimum 1 post per month but ideally I'd love to post way more frequently since there really is soooo much for me to write about especially on segments featured in the episodes. Until then, stay spooky.
