Allow Me Introduce Myself

 Hello all!

I created this blog to keep the oddity that is Beyond Bizarre ALIVE. It was a documentary TV show that aired on the Discovery Channel in the late 1990's that showcased morbidties across the world. I recalled watching this as a preteen (don't ask). Off and on through the years this show would pop up in my head in passing thought. When it finally came down to me actually wanting to watch these episodes, I couldn't seem to find anything!! I can barely be able to find Youtube clips needless to say any trace on the internet. Sucks, yo.

Over the years I created a Horror TV recap blog in which I eventually remembered to add this show which ultimately led me to create this blog to truly dedicate to Beyond Bizarre.

Sure, it was pretty outdated and some were even debunked but I still would love to track down this show again. Footage has just GOT to exist somewhere. Upon further investigation, this show was in syndication across multiple countries, channels and even languages.

Currently, episodes 1-7 are known and available on the internet but there were 14 total episodes. 8-14 are currently lost media. My mind is just blown that this show was seldom talked about because I found it rather iconic especially our oh so charismatic host, Jay Robinson.

Beyond Bizarre is an obscure tv show indeed. So here is my quest to look for it and perserve this totally awesome show that was a staple in my childhood. I am literally trying to just use all the buzzwords I can think of so inquiring minds of mutual taste can find this blog! 

According to some sources this also went by other names. "Into the Unknown" and "On the Inside". I can't confirm the latter, personally. I have seen many sources citing "Into the Unknown" which I will bring proof of that in a future post.

I am only one person here with practically no social life whatsoever (pathetic, I know!) so with more free time than the average person I would love to solve this mystery before I die. If you haven't figured it out already, I'm a mid 30s woman so I feel I have hit my mid life crisis a tad early. Bruh.

Thanks for reading this blog! I truly hope this blog gains traction and also please bear with me as I know my writing skills ain't what they used to be. I try to proofread everything but many mistakes may slip though regardless. I tend to update posts a lot after the fact too.
